KITES Senior Care, a geriatric care specialist, recently unveiled a COVID Care Centre in Bangalore. The facility is furnished with 30 beds and is fully equipped to treat patients with mild to moderate symptoms. The Centre is a government approved one and is located in Sahakaranagar, Bengaluru. With this Centre, KITES Senior Care aims to provide medical supervision and facilities to the rising number of people contracting the coronavirus infection daily. 

The 30-bed facility is equipped with Oxygen support, Medicines, Lab Services, Ambulances, Emergency Management, Bio-med Waste Disposal, Nutritious veg meals and Super Specialists to conduct Online Consultations. Located in North Bengaluru, the KITES COVID Care Centre will be led by a inhouse team of highly specialized and well-trained medical experts. All care facilities are designed by healthcare architects in collaboration with the expert medical team which is compliant to regulations and most importantly keeps patients’ safety at the core.

The facility also has high dependency units and is equipped with other oxygen support systems. In case of patients requiring hospitalization, KITES has partnered with hospitals in the neighborhood to provide priority admission on availability basis.

Karnataka is currently dealing with a COVID crisis, reporting over 40,000 cases every day.  Every small attempt to help bring the number of infections down is a step to curb the spread of the virus. The KITES COVID Care Center aims to help those COVID-19 positive individuals with mild or no symptoms who do not have adequate home isolation facilities. The CCC will be open to individuals without comorbidities from 18 to 60 years of age.
