Clinical Manager

Position Summary

The Clinical Manager – Homecare Services is responsible for ensuring seamless clinical operations and high-quality care delivery to patients in their homes. The role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage a diverse team of caregivers and nursing staff while ensuring patient satisfaction, safety, and compliance with healthcare protocols. The Clinical Manager also plays a key role in developing care plans, staff supervision, quality assurance, and patient-family engagement.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Staff Management
  • Supervise and mentor caregivers and nursing staff, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate with staffing vendors to manage planned leaves and replacements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and feedback.
  • Address and resolve staff-related concerns or patient-family conflicts promptly.
  1. Patient Care Coordination
  • Conduct clinical assessments (via call/home visit) within 2 hours of lead sharing.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the CMO.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Conduct monthly home visits to evaluate care quality, patient satisfaction, and staff well-being.
  1. Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to clinical and service quality standards.
  • Perform regular audits of patient records and implement corrective actions.
  • Support compliance with internal QA protocols and regulatory standards.
  1. Training and Development
  • Organize and conduct monthly refresher training sessions for active caregivers.
  • Promote continuous learning and stay updated on homecare trends and best practices.
  • Encourage caregivers and nurses to embrace professional development.
  1. Administrative Duties
  • Maintain updated records of staff and patients.
  • Generate reports on staff performance, patient outcomes, and other KPIs.
  • Monitor and manage department budgets and resources efficiently.
  1. Communication and Collaboration
  • Act as the main contact for patient/family concerns and ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with families, clinical teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
